Brenna is a senior from Bettendorf, Iowa studying Economics with a music minor. Last year she served as mentorship chair for AKPsi, and now is co-president. This past summer, she interned at Goldman Sachs doing Private Wealth Management in the Miami office. Brenna is co-captain on Duke Women’s Rowing team, and in her free time likes going to concerts and playing the piano.
Harry is a junior majoring in computer science and economics and has an interest in venture capital and entrepreneurship. He has spent three summers working on investments in early and growth-stage tech startups. He interned at Sequoia Capital, Transform VC, and a family office in NY. In his free time, Harry enjoys cycling, skiing, backpacking, and documentary photography.
Lance is a senior from Oxnard, California majoring in Economics with a concentration in Finance. He joined the organization his sophomore year and has previously served as the Alumni Relations Chair. This past summer he interned at RBC Capital Markets, a stepping stone for his professional interest in careers within corporate/investment banking and private credit. In his free time, Lance enjoys playing volleyball, trying new boba places, and building mechanical keyboards.
Sachin is a senior from Cupertino, California studying economics and psychology. After joining the organization his freshman year, Sachin has served as Sponsorship Chair and Vice President and is excited to serve as Senior Advisor this year. Professionally, he is interested in finance, specifically in investment banking and private equity, and has interned at EY as well as Barclays. Some of his interests include trying new restaurants and playing the piano.
Fernando is a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil studying Economics with a concentration in Finance. This past summer he worked at Deutsche Bank in their FIC Sales, Trading, and Structuring division. Outside of work, his favorite hobbies are playing tennis, surfing, working out, playing with his dogs, and traveling.
Eric is a senior from Boston, Massachusetts majoring in Economics and with minors in History and Psychology. Over the summer, Eric interned at Moelis & Company as a summer analyst. In his freetime, Eric enjoys MMA, music festivals, and exploring new restaurants.
Priyanshi is a junior from New Delhi, India majoring in Computer Science and Statistics. This is her second year serving as Tech and Entrepreneurship chair. She’s interned in both Product and Software groups at Microsoft. She’s also an advocate for minorities in tech and is involved with DTech and SPIRE Fellows. She hopes to pursue a career in tech/entrepreneurship.
Pedro is a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Economics. This past summer, he interned at Bain & Company as an ACI and will return in the summer of 2024. In his free time, he enjoys playing/watching basketball and soccer, working out and watching random videos on Youtube.
Ryan is a sophomore from Edison, New Jersey studying Economics and Computer Science. Over the summer Ryan interned at Nomura as a high yield credit analyst for their asset management division. In his free time, enjoys playing multiple instruments and staying active through swimming, running, skiing, surfing, and golfing.
Grace is a sophomore from Atlanta majoring in Economics (finance concentration) and minoring in music. She joined DBS her freshman fall and has also served as Publicity Chair. This past summer, she worked as a Product Development intern at a green utilities startup and studied abroad. Outside of work, she enjoys classical piano and graphic design.
Tyler is a sophomore from Palo Alto, CA pursuing Econ, CS, and I&E. This upcoming summer, he will be at NVIDIA as a Revenue Marketing Operations intern, and last summer, he interned at Forgepoint Capital, a cybersecurity VC firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. On campus, Tyler is a part of the Duke Wind Symphony, and in his free time, he enjoys exploring the Bay Area, golfing, and rating places on his Beli.
Taylor is a sophomore from Woodstock, MD studying computer science and economics with a minor in mathematics. Over the past summer, she was a software development intern at the sports social media startup, Recly. Next summer, she will be in Chicago working at PEAK6 as a quantitative trading intern. Outside of AKPsi, Taylor is a tour guide and a member of the Cube Entrepreneurship LLC.
Tyler is a sophomore from Redwood City, California studying economics and environmental science. Over the summer, he worked on voluntary green power markets at the Center for Resource Solutions and climate tech start-up sourcing at Joules Accelerator. Professional interests include climate, environment, and energy transition work. Hobbies include cooking, baking, science fiction books/shows, and re-watching HBO’s Succession.
J.R. is a junior from Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina majoring in Economics and minoring in History. His professional interests include finance and consulting. This upcoming summer, J.R. is interning at Harris Williams, an investment bank based in Richmond, Virginia. In his free time, J.R. listens to music, goes boating, and spends time with friends and family.
Deb is a sophomore from Abilene, Texas majoring in economics and minoring in psychology and visual media studies. This past summer, she worked as a consulting extern for a social justice organization with PwC. In her free time, she likes to write poetry and skateboard.
Andrew is a sophomore from Northville, MI studying economics (finance concentration) and math. This past summer, he worked as an investment banking summer analyst at MD Global Partners, a boutique firm based in New York. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys biking and playing spikeball.
Abby is a sophomore from San Diego, California majoring in Economics with minors in Spanish and Art History. Her professional interests include investment banking and private equity. This upcoming summer, Abby is interning at MGG Investment Group, a private credit company based in New York, New York. In her free time, Abby likes to run, sing, and try new restaurants.
Kathleen is a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas majoring in Statistics and minoring in Finance and Art History. Her professional interests include investment banking and sales and trading. This upcoming summer, she will be a Girls Who Invest Scholar in the Summer Intensive Program, where she will be matched to a seven-week buy-side internship. In her free time, she likes to play board games, visit museums, and try new foods.
Ying is a freshman from Greenwich, CT pursuing a major in Econ and minor in CS. Her professional interests include consulting and work in the tech, security, and defense industries. In her free time, she enjoys nature walks, long late night drives, and playing squash.
Andrew is a junior from Greenwich, CT pursuing an Economics major and Music minor. This summer, he will intern at Morgan Stanley, and last summer, he interned at Velocity Capital Advisors, a private credit firm in New York City. On campus, Andrew plays guitar in an alternative rock cover band and enjoys playing golf and tennis with friends.
Sophia is a freshman from Los Angeles, California with a potential program 2 in brand strategy and marketing. Her professional interests include investment banking and private equity. This semester, Sophia is working as an outreach associate at the Co-Lab and founding a Duke Business of Fashion Summit. In her free time, Sophia likes to go on long walks, blog, surf, and hang out with friends.
Jack is a junior from New York City majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. This summer he will be interning at Goldman Sachs on their commodities sales and trading team. Jack enjoys movies, going to the gym, and playing poker with friends.
Ryan is a sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina majoring in Computer Science with a Math minor and a certificate in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE). His professional interests include investment banking and data analytics. This past summer, Ryan took part in Duke’s Code+ program. Ryan’s hobbies include working out, golfing, and poker.
